Now Hiring: Lawn Technician
We're looking for dependable crew members for residential and light-commercial mowing routes, fertilization and weed control rounds, and seasonal cleanups. Stable routes, company truck and equipment, paid training toward your applicator license, and a real path to running your own crew.
What You'll Do
- • Mow, edge, trim, and blow off routes on schedule, cutting no more than a third of the blade and keeping mower blades sharp
- • Apply granular and liquid fertilizer, pre-emergent, and spot weed control at label rates
- • Run core aeration, overseeding, dethatching, and spring and fall cleanups
- • Complete service notes and walk the lawn with the customer when they're home
- • Maintain equipment, follow product label and safety procedures, and clean up clippings before leaving every property
Requirements
- • State pesticide applicator license preferred (we'll train and license the right candidate)
- • 1+ years on a lawn or landscape crew (entry-level helpers with outdoor labor experience considered)
- • Comfortable running commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and spreaders, and reading a product label
- • Valid driver's license; must pass MVR, background check, and drug screen
- • Able to lift ~50 lbs (a bag of fertilizer or sod roll), and work on your feet outdoors in all weather
Preferred
- • Current state pesticide applicator license or category certifications
- • Irrigation, sod installation, or hardscaping experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday with Saturday mornings in peak season; storm debris cleanup as needed.
