- Late spring and summer: balanced fertilization with slow-release nitrogen and post-emergent weed control on the broadleaf weeds that push through in the heat.
- Summer: grub and insect control in the window before the larvae start chewing roots and the turf peels up like carpet.
- Fall: the most important feeding of the year for the roots, plus aeration and overseeding to relieve compaction and thicken the stand going into winter.
