Fertilization Program in Cedar Grove
A bag of generic fertilizer guesses at what your lawn needs. We start with a soil test instead, because the ground in Cedar Grove isn’t the same yard to yard. The clay under the newer builds near the state forest boundary often runs short on the nutrients turf wants, while the older lots along Cedar Creek Road sit under so much leaf drop that the pH drifts over time. The test tells us what to feed and what to skip.
Slow-Release, Not a Quick Green
We build the program on slow-release nitrogen spread across the season, so the lawn feeds steadily instead of surging after one dump and starving by July. Shaded turf gets a lighter hand, since grass that isn’t catching full sun can’t use a heavy feeding and pushes weak growth that disease finds first. As a licensed applicator, we follow the label rates every visit.
Feeding works best alongside weed control and core aeration and overseeding on compacted clay. The full program is on our fertilization page, with the rest on the Cedar Grove page.
