Spring & Fall Cleanup in Maplewood
The two cleanups bookend the growing season, and both matter on Maplewood lots. In spring we clear the dead growth, fallen twigs, and matted leaves that piled up over winter on the tree-lined streets near the center of town, cut back the perennials, and edge the beds so the lawn wakes up clean instead of fighting through a layer of debris. Getting that mess off early lets the soil warm and the grass green up on schedule.
In fall we run it the other direction. We clear the last of the leaf load, cut back spent plants, and put the beds to rest before the cold sets in, which is also when the parkway lots benefit most from a final mow and edge.
These visits set up aeration and overseeding in the fall and pair with ongoing leaf removal. See what’s included on our spring and fall cleanup page, or the Maplewood hub.
